Safety Department
Our Safety Department comprises of the following staff (and qualifications):
 
Safety Manager
Industrial Relations 9 Years within the Petro-Chemical and Construction Industry
Shemtrac NFPA Instructor
Advanced NOSA Managing the Risk of Aids
   
Safety Officers (Two)
1 Year within the Construction Industry Managing the Risk of Aids
Shemtrac  
 
Safety Representatives
We allocate a Safety Representative for each site we work on, this is above the OSH Act requirements.

We currently run about 20 (twenty) sites.
 
Our Safety Team's Areas of Responsibility Are
 
  1. Firstly to ensure that all our personnel are inducted into our Company on entry
  2. Ensure all PPE is supplied and maintained
  3. Set-up the Construction File for each site
  4. Notification of DOL
  5. Set-up training of staff for Safety Representatives, First Aid, Aids Awareness, 
    Fire Containment, Mobile Plant Operators and IRCON Courses
  6. Ongoing Site Safety Inspections
  7. Site Safety Talks
  8. Supplying Safety Officers (6.6) for sites at Clients requirements
  9. Incident Investigations
